Indigenous Totem Pole Carving
An Indigenous totem pole carving is a small carved object, usually made from wood and shaped with figures associated with Northwest Coast visual art. In Victoria, it relates to the coastal First Nations cultural presence visible in museums, galleries, and public carvings around southern Vancouver Island.
